Today I’m bringing you the real Godfather of Soul. He’s been known since the early 50’s when he joined the gospel band, The Starlighters which later on became The Famous Flames. Years later, he released what would become his number one single ‘It’s a Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World’.

Throughout the years, his fame grew stronger and people would sing his songs all over the world. He’s been an influence on artists such as Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Prince and many others. He had a long and succesful life which sadly came to an end on 2006.

What else can I say about him but he is one of the greatest and a true Master of Funk and Soul…
