A little bit of Aussie I say…

Oh boy I heard this song a long time ago and I don’t even remember where, possibly in a film or a show, but I know I liked it.

Today, I was listening to my Ipod and this song came up, and if it’s there, well, lets just say it was and still is definitely worth it…

A promising discovery…

You may know him by his stage name, ‘Woodkid’, but as a matter of fact, his real name is Yoann Lemoine, a french graphic designer, music video director and musician.

His song ‘Iron’, was featured in the much awaited and famous video game Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

“A word does not say anything, and at the same time it hides everything”

From the soundtrack of brilliant film Man on Fire, I bring to you Cuban singer Carlos Varela and such beautiful, tearful and heartfelt song that made many of us cry and shiver…

“Like a true Nature’s child, we were born, born to be wild”

Mars Bonfire wrote this song for the following band, making it “a roaring anthem of turbo-charged riff rock”. It was recorded in 1967 by Steppenwolf, and many other artists all over the world have covered this succesful single.

Everybody at some point has heard of this song, so like me, remind yourself of the good old stuff…

Learning new stuff everyday…

From the awesome soundtrack the show Chuck has, I bring you this song from a band I didn’t know about till I heard it on this show and really puts me in a good mood.

Thank you Chuck for bringing all this music into my life.

Time to chill out…

Right from Ohio, I bring to you an artist and songwriter who started out in 2004 and has been playing ever since. His songs have been featured in many shows and films and even Ellen DeGeneres chose him to sing on her wedding.

I’m sure you’ve probably heard about him already, otherwise, check out his music…

We’re in for a breakthrough…

Conveying delicate, beautiful and heartwarming feelings, I present Wild Child with their debut album, filled with mesmerizing harmonies and lyrics…

“Let me assure you, Pillow Talk is one of the rare releases from 2011 that begs to be played in its entirety. From the lulling yet heart-wrenching ballads to the feisty foot-stomping numbers composed of twang and southern grit, this album is of anthemic proportions”

Got to love Florence…

I’ve already done a post about them before but I just wanna share my loop song of the day, cause they’re so great, anytime I listen to their music it’s like hearing them for the first time and the words original and awesome come into mind.

I know you love her too, so make this your loop song of the day or even the week, there’s always time for Florence…

Has been a while…

Today, I was reminded of this alternative rock band I heard some time ago and fell in love with their song ‘Into Dust’. Founding members Hope Sandoval and David Roback formed the band in 1989 and later on, with their hit ‘Fade into you’, they became even more successful.

So glad listening to them again…
