Goodbye Chuck…

Last night, Chuck said goodbye with a two hour finale which I’m sure, left us all sobbing. It’s been 5 amazing years, filled with funny, sad, joyful, tearful and wonderful moments, not only for the whole series’ crew, but for us too.

It was the best ending they could’ve made, not only because of the story, but because of the music too. Throughout every season, we’ve had an incredible soundtrack, never dissapointing and always having the right song for the right scene.

Once again, this geniuses behind it all couldn’t have been more succesful and chose the perfect music to wrap up. Yesterday, Josh Schwartz wrote ” “Life Is A Song” by Patrick Park was last song ever on #TheOC. What will be last song ever on #CHUCK?”

Well, they did it again and I don’t know about you guys, but everytime I hear it, I will remember this show, not as something that ended but as something that will always be in our memories…

An inspiration to taking chances…

For those who still haven’t heard of her, let me just say, she has a really kick ass voice. I mean so young and be able to sing like that is such a privilege some would definitely kill for. Who knew she could sing like that right?

She appeared on the show The Voice for the first time and surprised everyone, not only with her voice, but the young and sweet human being it was coming from. Her humility and innocence made her talent even more admirable, and together with country singer Blake Shelton, she grew stronger towards the finals.

Being the most young and inexperienced singer on the show, Xenia has managed to amaze all the viewers and give hope to those teenagers all around the world who believe they’re not good enough or aren’t ready to show what they’re capable of.

So, leave whatever you’re doing and listen to her first single, Sing you Home, and one of the best covers I’ve heard of Billy Joel’s Vienna…

It’s all about the right choice…

After watching last night’s Pretty Little Liars episode, I can’t stop listening to this beautiful song by The Rescues. Once again, it was just the perfect song for the perfect scene, so for those who watch it, I’m sure you’ll feel the same way and for those who don’t, well you’re missing a hell of a lot…

Keeps coming back…

We first heard of this song from the amazing Chris Isaac in the late 1980’s and inmediately fell in love with it. Now, years later, while watching the latest episode of gossip girl, this song was played, only this time, it was a different singer the one that caught my attention.

James really conveys the feelings through the music, he makes this song his own, so I invite you all to listen cause this really is a cover worth listening to…

There’s a mood for every song, and tonight, this suits perfectly…

I have the music, now, all I need, is a hot bath and some candles to join me and the lovely Brooke Waggoner on this night.

So just relax and listen…

When you least expect it…

I love the feeling when you  find a new song without even trying and it makes the loop song list. Today, while studying, I opened thesixtyone, of course, and this song was the first one to play. Never heard of Gaby Moreno, but now that I’ve “met her”, i’ll definitely  keep listening to her music.

By the way, if you haven’t checked out thesixtyone yet, what are you waiting for?
